"12 Step based fellowships have been developed to respond to eating disorders, and guide each individual and spiritual renewal and awakening to support long-term recovery."

Position On Approach to Compulsive Overeating vs. Anorexia/Bulimia:

"We have customized programming exclusively devoted to the unique needs of women 19 and older suffering from anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating."

Additional Characteristics:

"Care at Beau Cote extends beyond eating disorders. Many individuals who have eating disorders also have co-occurring disorders, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, impulse and emotional dysregulation, unresolved trauma, attachment issues, and personality disorders. Co-occurring disorders complicate the recovery process. Beau Cotes treats eating disorders and co-occurring disorders concurrently, thus increasing the effectiveness of treatment as well as improving the prognosis of long-term recovery."
