Treatment Philosophy:

Approach to Dual Diagnosis:

"Structured group process defining culturally diverse populations. Diagnosis or disorder axis 1 + 2. At this time all male population. Religion and spiritual information combined with drug use."

Family Program:

"Alanon, Alateen, NA, AA. Individualized family counseling with members present and non-present. Support collaboration and integrated treatment. We provide support and educate family members."

Position on 12 Step Involvement:

"We use the 12 Step module in our treatment of AA, NA, process groups and lectures. 6 mandatory 12 Step meetings per week."

Position on Confrontation:

"Confrontation is an essential part of the therapeutic process because the deliberated use of oral questions and statements by the counselor helps the client to face the reality. In confronting the counselor gives useful feedback."

"We also do job assessments and placement assistance. Life skills and HIV education. Individual counseling on a per need basis."
