Self Description:

"Remuda Ranch provides Biblically based, intensive, inpatient programs exclusively dedicated to the professional treatment of women and adolescent girls who are suffering from anorexia and bulimia."

Treatment Philosophy:

"We provide a balanced, team approach, which produces a continuing lifestyle change through individualized, Biblically based programs designed to treat the whole person and meet her unique medical, nutritional and psychological needs."

Family Program:

"Each resident's treatment plan includes a Family Week which consists of 40 hours of intensive group family therapy and occurs about half way through the resident's length of stay."

Position On Approach to Compulsive Overeating vs. Anorexia/Bulimia:

"We treat anorexia and bulimia exclusively."

Additional Characteristics:

"All aspects of treatment are integrated with Biblically based truths and a Christ-centered perspective. Remuda offers a multi-disciplinary team approach. Each resident is treated by a team of professionals, including a psychiatric and primary care provider, psychologist, registered dietitian, registered nurse and masters level therapist. Remuda provides longer-term, intensive treatment (45 to 90 days) with additional care, including transitional and independent living."
