“Crossroads for Women’s short-term residential rehabilitation program is structured to help women identify and accept their chemical dependency, identify relapse triggers and develop more appropriate coping skills to maintain abstinence.”

Treatment Philosophy:

“Crossroads for Women’s treatment philosophy is that substance abuse treatment for women must build upon and respect women’s unique needs to focus on self-determination, choices and positive relationships, and connectedness.”

Approach To Dual Diagnosis:

“Most clients hve multiple diagnoses. All diagnoses are considered and the treatment plan reflects attention to psychiatric, medical and recovery needs.”

Family Program:

“Weekly family education sessions, children’s day with activities for mothers and children, on-site childcare for women with children in treatment.”

Position On 12 Step Involvement:

“Meetings are provided on-site and in community. Attendance is encouraged.”

Position on Confrontation:

“Clients are engaged to look at the differene between what they want in their lives and how they have been living. This approach is gentle and exploratory, not confrontational.”
