Self Description:
“Medical detox is available both inpatient and outpatient. Inpatient focuses on 4 goals of treatment on beautiful campus in supportive, professional, confidential atmosphere.”
Treatment Philosophy:
“4 goals of treatment will help manage the disease of addiction. Education, self diagnosis, absorption into the recovering community, personal responsibility and also relapse prevention.”
Approach to Dual Diagnosis:
“We take a welcoming approach, trying to meet patients where they are. Both can be treated togehter and need to be treated together.”
Family Program:
“We offer family sessions for each patient. We also have a family program on Saturday followed by visitation. Family’s meet with a counselor and discuss pertinent issues relating to dealing and supporting the patient following treatment. Weekly open discussion/lecture on family issues.
Position on 12 Step Involvement:
“We know 12 Step involvement works and we take pts. each evening to meetings.
Position on Confrontation:
“We believe in interventions – positive goal and task oriented. Conversations supporting the patient and guiding them to improvement. Confrontations were ended here in 1998.”
