Treatment Philosophy:

“Teach patients and families about the disease of alcoholism/chemical dependency and the importance of connecting with other recovering people in preparation for the next level of care.”

Approach to Dual Diagnosis:

“Some patients have a separate psychiatric condition. This requires both distinctive as well as integrated treatment/education, ie: coping skills, understanding of the condition, psychopharmocological issues, 12-Step integration variables.”

Family Program:

“We offer a full day family educational prgram (8:30-4:00 every other Monday). This includes lecture/group discussion. Topics are family illness of alcohol/chemical dependency symptoms, Alanon, healthy and unhealthy family systems.”
