Self Description:

“NLTC has a 30 day program set-up for individual needs and goals in a quiet rural setting, homelike surroundings.”

Treatment Philosophy:

“The primary purpose of NLTC is to assist each client to a life of recovery from chemical dependency by gaining knowledge and understanding the facets of their dependency.”

Approach to Dual Diagnosis:

“Dual diagnosis clients are accepted if mental health issues are being addressed independently and do not interfere with chemical dependency treatment goals.”

Family Program:

“Every week we open our facility to family members (agess 12 and up) and encourage them to participate in individual counseling, family groups, lectures and videos.”

Position on 12 Step Involvement:

“The program is based on the 12 Steps of AA with the clients completing at least Steps 1-5 while in treatment.”

Position on Confrontation:

“Confrontation is used cautiously, when indicated by denial or situation; we do not practice any “hot seat” hard confrontations in group.”

Additional Characteristics:

“At least 2 individual counseling sessions per week; individual issues identified and addressed; positive spiritual basis with an emphasis on a gracious all powerful Higher Power providing strength and power for a new and truly free lifestyle.
